Personality:
While his massive height and constant, wide eyed gaze do seem scary, Pat never means harm (outside of the operating theatre). He tends to ask a lot of fairly harmless questions in an attempt to make friends but does tend to come off as a bit too nosey. He also stands either too close or too far with people he's having a conversation with; he just doesn't know the correct distance one puts themselves in this situation. If he likes you, he may put his hand on your shoulder or offer food as a show of respect and friendship. He gets incredibly annoyed if he is interuppted, and if interuppted a lot, he will tell them to shut up until he is done talking often in tones that make the gentle giant not so gentle.

He can be very informative on topics about himself and medicine, often giving incredibly detailed answers to questions that the other person may not have expected. If someone asks him about his parents, he tends to go silent and refuse to answer the question.

When it comes to medicine, he is very serious. Before an operation, he has been noted to be cold and to the point. The operation is all that matters, especially when there are lives at stake. During an operation, he demands there to be no chit-chat, only dedication to getting the job done well. After an operation, Patrick returns to his usual demeanour and often apologises for his cold manners.

History:
Patrick's parents are from a long line of Johto politicians, ones that helped fund the Auroris Ark. However, his parents are a bit set in their ways and when Patrick was diagnosed with autism, they gave him up for adoption, not willing to have an imperfect son. Luckily, his new family loved him immediately, even if the family itself is made up from a bunch of weirdos. He found that he had a natural talent for medicine and everything concerning the body so it was a real no-brainer when he signed up for the reseracher faction. His younger sibling Connie came into his life when he was 16, his parents again disowning their child due to poor health. Patrick took to him right away and they have been inseperable ever since.

Relationships:
-Frederick Polem: Patrick's surrogate father/guardian. He is an old man, incredibly strict but in his own way, he cared a lot about the fates of his charges. An ex-Guardian, he now helps run the ship's library (Assumed dead after the explosion)
-Wallace Polem: Patrick's older brother by 3 years. Not actually related by blood, but Patrick still treats him like one. In their childhood, they used to wrestle a lot aka. Wallace got the jump on Patrick and scared him shitless. (Assumed dead after the explosion)
-Diana Thanos: Patrick's youngest sister and one of the ship's programmers. The two have a very healthy rivalry and often have arguments about which profession is better. (Is alive, app wip)
-Constantine Lance: Patrick's only real sibling. Cares about them a lot and buys tem loads of tartan clothing. (Alive, app wip)

Additional Notes:
-To cope with an overload of stimulation or something to do while studying papers etc, he taps his hands against things. Do not attempt to stop this action, it usually ends in tears and it's not Patrick that will be crying.
-The best way to be friends with him is to be patient. If you want to be his friend, expect a lot of questions ranging from mundane things to explicit. Be firm with him if you don't want a question answered and he'll let it go.
-The middle finger on his skintight black suit actually has some sophisticated LED lighting so he can see what he is doing during surgery and to communicate with Schleroderma (also, a literal flashy middle finger)

Ability: Magic Guard.
Size: 2' or 60cm tall
Attacks: Calm Mind / Trick Room / Psychic / Recover
Personality:
Teratoma is Pat's first pokemon and the only one he brings into the surgery room. She tends to mother the other two pokemon on the team and will not tolerate rudeness towards Pat. She really wants to evolve one day if only for some sweet biceps.
Extras: Can talk using her psychic powers. If you see Pat talking to himself, he is most likely conversing with Teratoma.

Nature: Calm
Ability: Levitate
Size: 0.8cm or 2'07
Attacks: Shadow Sneak / Shadow Ball / Flash / Infestation
Personality:
Incredibly docile and calm, Hirayama keeps an eye out for Connie on Pat's behalf. Amongst the team, he is also the strongest when it comes to battling, but Pat doesn't battle often, so he is rusty.
Extras: While Teratoma voices her opinions through telepathy and Schleroderma voices hers through lights, Hirayama never speaks. He doesn't even talk to other pokemon and at best communicates yes/no answers through eyerolls.

Nature: Jolly
Ability: Analytic
Size: 1'08 or 0.5cm
Attacks: Thunderwave / Zen Headbutt / Psybeam / Protect
Personality:
It's a good thing Pat doesn't have this pokemon around him in surgery because she is interrested in EVERYTHING. Far too curious and far too joyful, Schleroderma aims to make everyone her friend by shining bright lights in their eyes.
Extras: Pat can communicate with her through some LED lights in his hands.
